The Schedule for the Spring 2009 season is posted under the House League Spring Section. This holds both your team's game and practice schedules. The draft for the Boys 11/12 and 13/15 division will happen Friday 03/20/09. You should hear from your respective coaches by the weekend. If you have not, please email ldbaadministration@verizon.net.

LDBA Winter Championship games for all applicable divisions are scheduled for Saturday 02/28/09. The All-Star Games are scheduled for Saturday 03/07/09. LDBA's spring registration is now online. Please help spread the word. LDBA is attempting something new for the Spring Season. We will be offering a Boys 16 through 18 division as a pilot. Registration will only be conducted online and volunteer coaches are needed for Spring.

All activities for 01/27 have been canceled. Emails went out to the database participates around noon. Due to the cancellations, changes have been made to the Girls 9/11, Girls 12&UP, Boys 9/10, Boys 11/12, and Boys 13/15 schedules. Please look for the schedules dated 01/27/09. They should now be available on this website. Also, the tournament brackets for the appropriate divisions have been posted as well. Seeding assignments have not been turned in by the commissioners yet. All-Star Games are tentatively scheduled for Saturday 03/07/2009.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone. The game season will restart on Saturday 01/10/09, with the practices beginning Monday 01/05/09. All commissioners were previously given the practice scheules. Just posted is the LDBA picture day schedule for all LDBA teams. The pictures will be taken in the Tile Floor gym. Teams are asked to arrive 15 prior to your scheduled time and get organized. Please ensure that you have your packet completed. Commissioner were mailed the packets and should be distributing them to the coaches over the course of the week. Please ensure that you wear your jerseys and BLACK shorts for the photo so they turn out nice.
POSTED 12/23/08: You should be receiving your pictures packages from your coaches prior to 01/10/2009 Picture Day. Times have been established and this information will also be distributed your respective coaches. LDBA hopes that everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

All schedules has been updated and emails to the database have been sent. Please ensure that you have the V.2 version dated 12/11/2008. The changes were due to changes with inter-league play between LDBA and Mt. Vernon. We are still waiting for some specific information from Mt. Vernon scheduling, which should be coming out tomorrow. This would affect the Boys 13/15 and all Girls divisions. The times and dates for LDBA venued game should not change.

Boys 7/8 Schedule has been updated due to a last minute change required for Saturday 12/06/2008. Please make note. Also, the Mt Vernon Girls 7/8 division actually will have 4 teams, therefore the Girls 7/8 schedule will be updated shortly. Please look for the revision within the next day.

The HOUSE DIVISION game schedules have been posted. For the Girls division, these are preliminary because Mt. Vernon needs to fill in applicable areas. Boys 13/15 division is also preliminary because Mt. Vernon will be entering 2 teams to play with our 6 teams. Mt. Vernon will need to update their applicable areas. On all the schedule, the assigned CLOCK DUTY is noted. Please ensure that you are aware of your turn and plan accordingly.

Registration for the Winter 2008-2009 House season is completely closed for all divisions. Boys 13/15 assessments are on target for Monday 11/17 at Mark Twain. the draft will immediately follow for the coaches only. Players are not needed at the draft.

Assessments night are completed for the younger divisions and all girls divisions and the next step is the DRAFT. The House DRAFT will be conducted on Wednesday 11/05/08 at Mark Twain. Only Head Coaches can attend. Players in the applicable division should hear from a coach by Sunday 11/09/2008. If you do not, please contact the commissioner of your respective division. Girls 9/11 and Girls 12 & up. There is only 1 team, therefore no draft will be conducted. You should be hearing from your coach soon. There is a delay in the gym allocation for the Winter Season, therefore practices may not begin on Monday 11/10/08. LDBA apologizes, but it could not be helped. The Boys 13/15 Assessments and draft are scheduled for Monday 11/17/2008. We still need 3 coaches in this division. The House coaches list has been posted to this website under the House League section.

Welcome back to LDBA. Change Change Change.... We are still the same LDBA, but different. Changes have occurred in the Operations of LDBA which is better for the organization, and translated into LDBA being able to provide a healthly, safe, and enjoyable environment for the children of our community. Most changes should be transparent to the families, but unfortunately with some of these changes, comes a registration fee increase. LDBA has been fairly consistent in cost increases only when absolutely necessary.
The LDBA Winter 2008-2009 event dates have been updated in the calendar section of this website. Please be sure to review.
